This is an important aspect of our times with God that can be hard to remember to do. Meditation is simply removing all distracting thoughts and listening to God. Cole, “Change”Ĭole recognizes the need to be willing to sit in silence and reflect or meditate. I sit in silence and find whenever I meditate, My fears alleviate, my tears evaporate, My faith don’t deviate, ideas don’t have a date J. What needs to change in how you spend time with God that will help you see him as the source of hope?.Do you leave your times with God more hopeful, or more afraid? More joyful, or more guilty? More at peace, or more stressed?.If we aren’t leaving our times with God feeling more hopeful, joyful, and at peace, then we need to evaluate what is stopping us from seeing God for who he really is. So when we spend time with him, we are able to overflow with confident hope no matter what circumstances we may face. This scripture tells us that God is the source of hope. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Cole calls this intuition, but the Bible calls it hope.

Cole, “Change”ĭespite the pain Cole experienced in previous tracks, there is something inside him that tells him there will be better days, that gives him a reason to keep moving forward. My intuition is telling me there’ll be better days. My intuition is telling me there’ll be better days, yeah.

After feeling hopeless, angry, afraid, forgotten, Cole begins the song with these lines: The whole album is a story, and the song starts off with an upbeat tone, something the album hasn’t seen yet. This song is track 6 of Cole’s fourth studio album, 4 Your Eyez Only.
